I’m going on the World Race for two reasons the first one is a little selfish if I’m going, to be honest. I remember when I was a little kid my dad went to India and helped make a safe place for girls that were part of the sex trafficking in India. I remember when he came back after and something about him was just brighter. I didn’t understand why at first until 2020 when I went on my first mission trip. I went to Gainsville, GA the HQ of AIM I wasn’t ecstatic because it’s wasn’t my first choice but I still felt called and was still was super excited to go on my FIRST MISSION TRIP!! For the most part, we helped adults with special abilities (not disabilities) at a Camp Pier with the Pier Foundation. One day though we did a Motel Ministry and helped people that could potentially be a part of trafficking or couldn’t afford to live anywhere else because a downpayment would be too much to pay while also sharing the good news of Jesus. I remember after that day I knew; that’s why my dad seemed brighter after going to India and I wanted to help people. I am going on the World Race to hopefully confirm that I am truly called to a life on mission.
The second reason I’m going on this mission trip is the ministries in each of the countries I’m going to we will be involved in multiple things, but the things I’m most excited about is the children’s ministry or the family Strenthing we will be involved in each of the Countries we are going to. I think getting involved in the next generation is extremely important because they will hopefully be here longer than I will be. I think family strengthing is important because I think you should always have family you should be able to rely on no matter what has happened in the past and learn how to heal from it.
